Neil helps innovators create positive impact through strategic patent portfolio development. By taking a communicative approach to understand the business context of clients’ inventions, Neil works with clients to create patent assets tailored to their business goals.

Over the years Neil has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in a wide variety of technological fields, including software, high tech, mechanical, chemistry, power grid, communications, medical devices, and textiles. Neil also has experience assisting clients with patentability research, filing and prosecuting trademark applications, and drafting licensing agreements.

Neil is excited by new technologies and how strategic patent asset development helps commercialize these technologies and encourage further innovation.
