Austin coproduces strategic patent assets by working closely with clients to ensure their inventions are captured in their patent portfolio. Austin utilizes his skills and knowledge of U.S. intellectual property rights to analyze the patent portfolios of his clients and compare their strengths and weaknesses to those of their competitors. Austin graduated from Appalachian State University as a certified chemist and is a proud alum of North Carolina Central University where he worked in NCCU’s patent clinic and as the Symposium Editor for the Science and Intellectual Property Law Review. Austin has experience preparing and prosecuting patent application in a variety of technological fields, including mechanical, hardware, and software. Austin enjoys working with inventors and entrepreneurs to further their business goals while learning along the way.
